Art is communication, its a language not everyone can understand. I myself have experienced the same thing, I sometimes think how weird a piece looks like, but for some it is breath-taking.
As for our school, it is obvious that the School of Fine Arts is very active and are most of the time busy with their exhibits done many times a year..
This one scared the shizzz out of me :/
